"When I joined Troop 1906, I was immature and selfish, I had a lot of room to grow. The troop leadership pushed me to see those faults. They taught me in order to see beyond myself I would have to recognize them and learn day after day. My fellow scouts and I grew because we had opportunities to lead, explore new places, learn new skills, and work together as a team. The journey to become an Eagle Scout at Troop 1906 built the foundation of who I am today. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? There is not a doubt in my mind it was."
